Introducing Parisian Swing
Parisian Swing were originally formed to celebrate and play the music of the great Belgian gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt. A substantial part of their repertoire is still drawn from the work of this amazing musician but they also include a wide range of standard tunes from the 20s to the 60s. The music is suitable for many types of function from quiet background accompaniment to lively dances.

Parisian Swing also work with other musicians from the thriving gypsy jazz community and often perform with them at events and functions. Colin and Mike frequently work as a duo and Olly and James also work with other groups. Olly plays a variety of folk music in and around Hertfordshire and James is an accomplished classical violinist working with ensembles and orchestras in the Hertfordshire area.
Please contact Parisian Swing if you require further information on the group's other musical activities.
